This Privacy Policy explains how FinPro handles information when you use the FinPro personal finance tracker.
FinPro is designed as a local-first application. The finance records, profile information, settings, and security information created inside FinPro are stored locally on the device using browser/app storage. FinPro is not designed to operate a remote account database or upload your financial records to our servers.
You may enter information such as your name, email address, password, PIN, income and expense records, savings goals, loans, documents, vehicle information, tags, locations, notes, dates, and amounts. This information is used only to provide the app's features on your device.
Your transaction and financial records are intended to remain on your device. FinPro does not sell, rent, or monetize your financial records. Because the records are local, deleting app data, uninstalling the app, clearing its storage, or losing the device may permanently remove information that has not been backed up.
FinPro uses a local password verification value and an optional four-digit App Lock PIN to control access to features. The App Lock PIN is a convenience/security control for the local app experience and should not be treated as military-grade encryption. Anyone with unrestricted access to the device or its application storage may potentially access locally stored data.
When you choose Backup JSON, Export CSV, or Print/PDF, the selected information is processed locally by your device and saved or printed through the device/browser. FinPro does not automatically upload exported files. You are responsible for protecting exported files and choosing secure storage locations.
The local-first FinPro edition does not intentionally use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, social-login services, or remote finance APIs. The app is designed to function without requiring an online account or cloud sync.
FinPro is designed to request only capabilities necessary for its local features. File access may be used when you select a profile image or restore a JSON backup, depending on the Android/WebView environment used to package the app. FinPro does not use your files for advertising or sell them to third parties.
You can use Settings → Erase Account & Data to remove the FinPro account and its locally stored financial records from the app storage. You can also clear the app's storage through Android settings. Exported backups outside the app are not automatically deleted by this action.
FinPro is a general-purpose personal finance tool and is not specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information through a remote service.
We aim to minimize data exposure by keeping the app local-first. However, no software or device storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Keep your Android device protected with a strong device lock, install updates from trusted sources, and do not share exported backups or passwords.
This policy may be updated when FinPro's features or data practices change. The latest version will be made available with the app. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
